When a song is ever green
It’s no secret. Recently I’m in love with almost any of the Cloudberry productions. One of the artist I’m loving the most is now Astrolab, from Indonesia. I suppose it should be hard for any band from that country digging their best and struggle for a decent distribution and popoularity, but as you may know I’m an hard-to-die dreamer, and I still believe that the power of beauty and a good tune has to find his way through the right ears. Worldwide. No matter what.

Ladybird and Tiny Tide
Well. As some of you might know, I have a band. It’s called Tiny Tide. (You may check the site here)
Last summer we had the chance to be chosen for the Worldwide compilation “Pop Nation” by the Spanish Indie Label Bon Vivant Records. Tiny Tide represented with the Da Wikked Edit of the track “Girls From Ronta”.

Last Cloud Standing
As you probably have understood, I have a sweet tooth for indie music. You have to know that there are some icons in this strange little universe (aren’t fictional universes more real than anything under the sun?) that a fan just’ can’t ignore. That’s the case of Cloudberry Records, a very peculiar indie label that managed to conquer the heart of so many listeners thanks its brilliant talent in discovering fresh talent from the scene promoting them via a serie of 3 inch CD-R.

Sleepwalking
I hung around there / Wasting my time/ Hoping youll stop by
Hi there and cheers everyone. That’s the first post on “Sleepwalking”, a new bizarre project of mine. What are we dealing with here? Well. First of all let me introduce you. My name is Mark Zonda. Basically I’ve been in love with music since I was born, I play and write some music in a project called Tiny Tide. I used to dj around (still do from time to time) and I’ve been doin’ reviews and interviews for a e-zine called Ephebia.
One day I got crazy, and I decided to drive my love for music into another project. That’s right: “Sleepwalking”
Why “Sleepwalking”? Basically because recently all the activities close to music and its strange magic world are taking place during the night, wasting hours and hours of precious rest!
I mean… Gigs: night. Radioshows: night. Time to sit, listening to some new songs and write reviews: night again. Let’s face it! Music maniacs are struggling their best to keep themself awake digging their activities during the night!
What this Sleepwalker’supposed to do? First of all trying to emprove my English, although I’ll have so little time to write that I will frequently leave you with so many mistakes to find out (consider it a side-game). Then again I thought it could have been a good idea letting you know what your favourite indie-band’s are doing when not in town and keeping you updated with clips, pics and reviews of their shows in Italy.
That’s untill I’ll have the contributions from you people from all over the world!
Tomorrow I’ll be hosted on a radio show called “Geeks Radio“, run by MyHoney Records. It’s a weekly appoinment with indie music. One hour a show. This time we decided to run a special called “Cloudberry Vs Trattoria”. That’s been a good excuse to interview the main men of the scene, so be ready to get also great interviews!
What Sleepwalkers do during their night activities? They talk about insane things alone during the whole night! So don’t leave us alone and give us your feedback and support
Cheers
