Comptine D’un Autre Été: Petit Tide
Tiny Tide came back in town, with the most improbable friday night gig. In a very narrowed wooden cantina it was a surprise (for the band itself) having a jazz-trio to hopen the live performance of the band from Cesena. First moments of Tiny Tide show were a real jam session with an unpredictable rhythm session at their back too.
The band seemed to have experienced some technical difficoulties (voice and acoustic guitar were plugged to the bass amplifier of the previous jazz-trio) but audience seemed to have had a good response to Tiny’s songs and asked for two enchores: the ballad “S♥L” and a “The Psychopath At The Club” reprise, with Mark leaving his electric guitar (the singer named it “Chuck”) to shake here there and everywhere the mic cable could took him trying to skip people trying to reach for a beer.
“This is a country-pop-song. It goes for girls coming from Ronta. I know there’s a lot of you in here, trying to study hard to attempt their university. And I also know that you’ll got back to your country working with a hoe in a tomato field. This one goes for you”. The band started his “Girls from Ronta” anthem.
Another moment of the night was when Mic Starr had to stop playing to fix its drumset, and Mark started improvising a new song called “Do Mean It’s a Mess”, that should appear on the forthcoming second Tiny Tide EP. A slow ballad on onging failures of private and pubblic facts.
Here’s some pictures of that night.
