Someone still loves you
One of the indie acts that had some kind of influence on the Italian scene during the second hald od y2k, was called “Losing My Badge“. “Losing my badge” was a monthly appointement run by a two local djs from Bologna trying to make people dance with a selection of new and obscure songs from 2005 indie scene, from retro-wave to swedish joyful indie pop.
Some of the songs started to became real anthems, being played for years even when “Losing my badge” nights were over (the whole thing lasted a year). One of the bands people started to love where the americans “Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin“. I had the chance to see them live on autumn 2008. These are some clips & pics from that night.
