Not Everybody Gets To See A Westfield Mining Disaster
“‘Lovely, witty guitar pop… exactly what’s missing from British pop music nowadays” – Cactus Killer Radio
“Westfield Mining Disaster” are avery peculiar band. Asking Kerouac to lead’em away throughout a boring saturday night, having Hank Williams to save their life, but – above all – deeping lyrical references into… Penguin Books! Do not expect cratchy yodel from “Long Gone Lonesome Blues”. Twee music meeting Americana on English Country Gardens, that’s what we’re dealing with. This strange little band from UK will entratein your domestic afternoons with their sweet and sour fantasy-pop. So “rise and shine“ crazy nutty Judee Greer: “not everybody gets to be a rolling stone”, but guess that gettin’ along with “Helium & Kerouac” is so much better than having “six months in diarrea”.

I like the “Judy Greer” song…is there an instrumental/karaoke version of it available?
