How Does It Feel
“Digging deep into a 60s to 70s selection with the Temptations, Beach Boys, The Shangri Las and into the 80s with The Smiths, Belle And Sebastian – ‘a celebration of an emotion in motion’. Deeeep.” – Time Out London.
Once upon a time it was only Beatles and Rolling stones, all throwing bums in in the next indie band prime and hear people say “Beware blokes… you’re bound to fall”. The Next Rolling Stone? You’d probably thought they were all kiddin’ you! One band in a million could have gone so far… You used to laugh about any band that was poppin’ out. Then something happened.
Guess what? You discovered your top luved band just belonged to a record player and your you didn’t seem so proud anymore about having to be scrobbling your next encoded golden hit over and over again. Boom. You start to open that door to an infinite stream smashing you like avalanche on an Albion night: HOW DOES IT FEELS TO BE LOVED, just the finest indie-school to get juiced in.
Nobody has ever taught you how to jingle-jangle, but you’ll soon find out you’re gonna get used to it till the rest of your life. Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people are waiting you right there, drinkin’, thinkin’ that they got it made, exchanging for one night all kinds of precious smiles and cheers you could get.
The next sweetest excuse to “feel loverd “will be Friday April 3rd (hey! It’s my birthday!) at Canterbury Arms in Brixton. If you’re lucky enough to be there get the chance to enjoy one of the most lovely night of your life on the coolest indie-club of the World. Go to them now, they calls you, you can’t refuse! Colm McCrory from Help Stamp Out Loneliness will be your guest dj too!
