Waiting for the shining hour
“Still thinking about you and how the things went wrong…”
“I would say” (just to quote the Tiny Tide song I’m working on right now) that it’s hard to count the number of indie bands heavely influenced by R.E.M.. Them conscious or not. Don’t know, but there’s something in The Shining Hour‘s guitar arpeggios and chords that reminds me of Cornelius and Astrolab too. (more…)

If you love indie or experimental music, it’s friday night and you find yourself (somehow) wandering in a little European country called “Italy” (hey! it’s bootshaped!), don’t forget to get by Officina 49. The place is one of the coolest venue in Italy, providing rehearsals rooms and a recording studio, a pub, a second floor under a big romanic wooden roof for dancing, and space very interesting and selected gigs too.
