See Emil Play
Getting to see a gig with Emil Johansson, a.k.a. Parker Lewis, it’s always a true pleasure. It’s nice to meet this artist from Sweden from time to time, as a friend and as part of the audience. Distant friends deserve a hug and a special smile. Moreover it’s a true fan joy seeing the changing of an artist you started to follow since his first moves. Emil was back to Lego. And this time it was more than five songs and a guitar. In fact it was actually SEVEN songs, a guitar, a drum and a bass. Moreover Parky is htting the stages of his little Italian Tour along with “New Decade”, a band formed by some of the members of Mixtapes & Cellmates that we had already the pleasure to interview. Best moments of the night? Probably a rocky version of “Via Emilia” - which of Parker’s tracks was more righteous to open the show? – a passionate “Dirty Dancing” and a wild version of “Summertime Blues”, in spite of the neighbourhs and the pubblic order.
For those who was eating icecream last saturnday night instead of rocking da house, here’s some pics & Clips.
