It’s always a sweet pleausure seeing Le Man Avec Les Lunettes playing live with their last 6 blokes band team. The ultimate excuse for “being there” was the party for the launch of their last videoclip by Luca Lumaca (an Italian music-clip director) taken from their last album “Plaska Plaska Bombelibom”. The funny thing is that we were so spellbounded by the live show outside Carpi’s Mattatoio (Hey! I played in there with Santa Dogs!) that we didn’t care about the video at all… and they evend didn’t uploaded on YouTube either! Show was great!

I shared so many laughes with Fabio and Alessandro asking things ’bout their intense Euro-Tour (not so many Italian indie bands were supposed to have the chance to play in so many locations out of our bootleg) and jumped and shouted on “Victorian Swimmingpool”, “Apples” (a song dedicated to “Apples in Stereo”) and “The Biggest Way”. I f*cking love that band. It’s pure joy! Alessandro seemed very energic and joyful too, fighting with gravity not falling on the stage, sharing jokes with the stage (I guess he spent band’s entire budget on that) and keeping to break chords (guess what, he had a flaming new electric Fender from her guitar player lady mate. We’re not supposed to know if he was doped, stilly Alessandro was in great  shape! A shame I missed his Akkuma Red hair colour and new Costellian Fabio’s glasses.

End of the games. People screamed for their “Johnatand David” notorious cover, but we were not lucky enough. Not lucky like… you! Here’s the song (From the legendary “Kristen Postcard Netlabel” Belle & Sebastian compilation “A Centuty of Covers”) and Clips & Pics from the show.
