Fuck me, I’m twee

Right before Nirvana started to excite every kid in the planet with their dirt grungy sound, another American musical scene, originated basically by “The Softies” and “Beat Happenings”, was secretly building his elite snob niche for the future slightly bringing to life another movement. It was Twee. The US response to C86 movement. The eponimous anthem from Tullycraft was more than an anthem. It was a hit! (more…)
