Laughing With Regina Spektor

With the recent release of her stunning new album, Far, it seemed apt to write about Regina Spektor, an artist who I have adored for years. I honestly cannot get enough of her, with her original blues voice and her catchy, theatrical songs. She is definitely one of my favourite singer/songwriters, and would easily come in my top ten of favourite overall artists. (more…)

Oh,No! Ho,Ney!

“These days I seem to think about / How all the changes came about my ways”

These days. What the fuck is happening to these days? All these stars falling from the scene, and this is not even the worst part of the tale. What hit people the most ’bout the death of MJ? Possibly the fact that it was totally unespected, like a death of Micky Mouse or Winnie The Pooh himself. I’ve just learned today that another dream falled apart from my personal skyline.
