Out of our tiny indie
Brazilian top models as opening act, a great discotheque more suitable for the setting of “The Party 2010 version”, a wide stage with a service staff and equipment that would have satisfied Bono and company? Is this still indie music? Yes ya bet, at least since Tiny Tide‘s the band on stage. Some of the people of Travolta was quite concerned. “Are they doin’ a music band contest?” a girl asked? All I know is that several people came up on stage after Tiny Tide show was over to spend some good words to the band, but the dudes were all too drunk to be taken seriously. One thing we can say for sure: possibly the sound of the band will never be as good as that again (except for the untuned Mark Zonda guitar) and it was a pleasure seeing the members of Tiny Tide dancing on the indie dancefloor in such an enthusiastic way after the show, possibly for having their reserved table filled with beers by the disco owner. For once in a lifetime it was a pleausure getting out of our indie, though the image of the band would possibly get some ups with a little bit of attitude and personality.
