Indie O’Clock: Tiny Tide and Nothing Meets All
The first show by a young indie-prog band called Nothing Meets All (though their acronym is often taken for the mysterious L.B.D.B.D.C.) was the sweetest excuse to team up from another band from the same town called… Tiny Tide!
The venue took place ad Magazzino Parallelo, a place where so many artists use to meet frequently taking advantage of a d.i.y. library, rooms with turntables and projectors at disposal, and a rehearsal room as well. Tiny Tide and Nothing Meets All were practically born there, so it was not so strange, at a certain point in life, to find themselves playing in front of an audience in the very pace.
Tiny Tide opened the show with Mark Zonda on voice/guitar and Mike Leffe on drums, on a very fuzzy garage electric set. Mike Leffe had to leave the show at a certain time in order to play on a side project. At this point Mark invited Alessandro from N.M.A. to play one last song, jamming a medley of some Tiny songs including a bit of “Satellite of Love” by Lou Reed… never having practiced the number together before!
Nothing Meets All were an absolute melting pot of genres and fantastic human beings. Coming from various parts of Italy they put their articulated point of views and musical differences into a unique and cohesive vision, aiming for art and fun supporting the live act at their best just like they were on the scene since years.
Meanwhile, in a secret room of Magazzino Parallelo, a side event was taking place! Mark Zonda and Porlock were playing some Tiny songs for voice and piano under the not too amazed eyes of some blokes who were trying just to play cards. There are times when indie music is never out of place.

Love the music by Tiny Tide lead by singer/guitarist Mark Zonda. Mark presented a great presence in his voice as expected in a garage type music with his growled vocalization and fuzzy guitar sounds. Love his delivery and presentation. I am truly a fan indeed! I am looking forward to hearing more songs by Tiny Tide! I will definitely follow their music! I’m sold for sure! Keep up the great music guys! Cheers!!!!!
