Let’s get psyched
Time for another podcast. This time I focused on my recent listening mainly driven by the artist I’m gonna see live this summer, especially thanks to the impressive selection made by Hana-Bi, offering our eager indie-hears practically the joys of a permanent summer festival. I threw in a new one from I Cani debut album too. They’re the talk of the boot-shaped peninsula and I wanted to test “Le Coppie” on this podcast to see how it fit between their international competitors. Enjoy. (more…)

Vermillion Sands
First time I’ve stumbled on “Vermillion Sands” was a live performance on a YouTube Video. I didn’t ever recall the name, but since I’m really into garage rock and fuzz guitars I was positively impressed by the band.

Underground Music
Seems like finally I’m finding no more time during the week but making podcast! Playing with the band, goin’ to radioshow and attending live shows stealing all the time from me, and when I come back in my room in front of my computer nothing is more delightful than sitting on my desk, gather some music and share it with you!
I had so little time at my disposal that I even haven’t found the time to track my previous show, so please welcome this double feature while I’ll keep on listening to “Skint And Demoralised” on repeat all summer long!

A taste of pop
This time I went back to the podcast thing with the intention of exploring some obscure indie pop from Spain to share with you listeners some recent discover. Recent is completely out of place as a word, since Juan Pardo Suárez and Antonio Morales Barretto had their debut as “Juan y Junior” on 1963 and “La Mode” has is moment as electropop band during the ’80s. This latino stuff was also an excuse to share some new pop stuff coming from Italy like the return of “Ex-Otago” (with a brand new album made with the financial contribution of their fan) and the eclectic and experimental Marco Parente, quite becoming the Italian Thom York. Punkasting
Let’s be honest. I hadn’t enough strength and patience to write another review, or tell you how Anna Calvi live show was cool nor having to admit that Fujiya & Miyagi hadn’t that appeal on me (while the newbie Low Frequency Club was quite a revelation in all their repeated psy-funk music patterns). Still I had so many songs I wanted to share with you… and that’s why I went to another podcast! Do enjoy SleepCast#11: rock on! (more…)

The Indie Pop Triangle Weekend
Some of you may know a city called Rome, a nice wicked place in the middle of Italy, that is basically Europe. They say it was the centre of the World sometime ago, so it was a pleasure for my friends and me to have a little trip downtown, chat basically about nothing with the cab drivers (I asked one of them to forgive me for shouting him “Follow THAT car, NOW!”), update our Istantgram with some nice fake gladiator imposter in front of the Colosseum, and get doped by indiepop at Roma Pop Fest, set up by Frigo Pop Stuff (check their blog HERE).
