Let’s get psyched
Time for another podcast. This time I focused on my recent listening mainly driven by the artist I’m gonna see live this summer, especially thanks to the impressive selection made by Hana-Bi, offering our eager indie-hears practically the joys of a permanent summer festival. I threw in a new one from I Cani debut album too. They’re the talk of the boot-shaped peninsula and I wanted to test “Le Coppie” on this podcast to see how it fit between their international competitors. Enjoy. (more…)

Podabilly
Listening to my friend Kaypea Elizabeth Porsch on UK based Insanity Radio’sProtozoa radio show… has been just a little bit contagious! Here’s my attempt to go back to the roots and explore the wild underground of rockabilly music! From be-bop to surfing birds, here you go with some doubtable gems that would get Elvis Costello’s Kojak Variety scared! (more…)

A taste of pop
This time I went back to the podcast thing with the intention of exploring some obscure indie pop from Spain to share with you listeners some recent discover. Recent is completely out of place as a word, since Juan Pardo Suárez and Antonio Morales Barretto had their debut as “Juan y Junior” on 1963 and “La Mode” has is moment as electropop band during the ’80s. This latino stuff was also an excuse to share some new pop stuff coming from Italy like the return of “Ex-Otago” (with a brand new album made with the financial contribution of their fan) and the eclectic and experimental Marco Parente, quite becoming the Italian Thom York. Punkasting
Let’s be honest. I hadn’t enough strength and patience to write another review, or tell you how Anna Calvi live show was cool nor having to admit that Fujiya & Miyagi hadn’t that appeal on me (while the newbie Low Frequency Club was quite a revelation in all their repeated psy-funk music patterns). Still I had so many songs I wanted to share with you… and that’s why I went to another podcast! Do enjoy SleepCast#11: rock on! (more…)

Zond Peel?
It has been a while since our last podcast, and I thought that a renewed 10 tracks of the week formula would be a good excuse not to write something about music, just do a nice interesting selection, sit back, and share my recent retro wired listening with you. (more…)

At least… a Podcast!!
Still really really buisy this days. I just found the time to catch up with a PodCast and give in to share some music with you.
And beside a preview from Tiny Tide next next album… it’s even old music! :)
I found an old mixtape of mine called “Doll Revolution”, found the digital version of some of those tracks, and put them in my last podcast.
The Creame-de-la-merde. It’s not what pop is all about? Here we go! (more…)

Let me impress you
I have to admit that things are kinda becoming hart to catch up to in order to be updated after my IndieTracks experience. Add the fact I’m on vacation right now, and I need my extra time to work on some musical projects, and here you’ll find the explanations on my delays. And I’m not only talking about SleePosts!
There are fuckload of interviews and stuff awaiting to be checked and review laying in my mailbox! So, not to be on the top list of the people you hate but somewhere not quite defined on your personal pole position, I managed somehow not to delay the weekly podcast, that is always a pleasure to share with my readers. Here’s we go! (more…)
